6 Months and Counting


Hi Everyone!

Time has sure been flying by! Six months ago I had came to the realization that I needed to make some big changes in my life in order to be a happier person.  So I came up with some ideas that would help with that.  Since that time was smack in the middle of the holidays I choose to start them in the New Year and call them my resolutions for the year.

So let’s see how I am doing shall we?

Hils 2013 New Year’s Resolutions:

 

1.         Say “YES” more often.

a.    I think I am doing pretty awesome with this one.  After knowing someone for only a few weeks we booked a trip down south and I’ve accepted invitations to social events from mere acquaintances.

2.         Meet more people.

a.    I have made a conscious effort to meet more people.  I’ve put myself out there with acquaintances, joined sports leagues and struck up conversations with strangers. As a result I have developed some awesome relationships.

3.         Travel more. ( I think I am doing the best with this one :D )

a.    Rio San Juan-February 2013

b.    Bangor, Maine- May 2013

c.    Las Vegas- Booked for  August 2013

4.         Live Healthier.

a.    I’ll be honest with this...I could be doing significantly better with this one. My diet could be healthier even though I am making a conscious effort to be more aware of what I am eating. I have also started running about three times a week..Its been a slow process but I am seeing slight improvements.
