My Style

Everyone has a style, a look, that they portray through the clothes that they wear, how they style their hair and makeup and how they compose them self’s in public. In the past year or so I feel that I have become more interested in what I wear and the look that I portray to others. In part I feel this is because I’ve grown as a person and am beginning to know and understand myself and who I want to be a little more.

Unfortunately for me, working in healthcare, I am limited to scrubs and/or clothes that I won’t mind getting ruined during the week. But on evenings out and weekends I like to get a little more dressed up. I am by no means a style expert but have come to know what type of look I find reflects my personality they best.

I strive for a classy, feminine look with a little bit of edge mixed in.  Honestly I don’t have one specific style icon; I usually just browse pintrest to get ideas and inspiration.

My favorite piece of my wardrobe that I have had for a few years is my simple black leather jacket.  It makes me feel a little edgy and I am all about the way the clothes make you feel and not how they look alone.  If you feel comfortable and confident, then that is the look you are going to give off.

You can follow me on Pintrest and Instagram to see more images of my style and inspiration!
Have a great day!

  1. Wow, I love your sense of style! The loose/flowing look on the first blouse is very elegant, it fits with the waviness of your hair.
Leather jacket makes you look very mature/independent, looks great!
The "little black dress" look is great and fits your curves nicely, but I can't help but feel it needs a bit of accessory somehow... maybe a scarf or loose belt? Love the shoulder-cut, though!
    Beautiful as always, Hil!
