I can’t be happier that my exam is over! It’s a great feeling not having to worry about school and homework anymore..well at least till June anyway. So to celebrate I am having a lazy morning curled up in bed catching up on my reading that isn’t school related.
So now that I have a little more free time on my hands, I plan to get the focus back to my resolutions that I made for 2013.I find, like I’m sure most people do that after a month or two of staying motivated with resolutions, life gets busy and they tend to be placed on the back burner.
I am determined to not let that happen this year. I have made some great new friends over the past few months as well as reconnecting with some people I haven’t talked to in ages, and would like to continue to constantly be involved in activities and surrounded by new people.
As for traveling, I have very limited vacation this summer and I am also saving for my trip to Vegas in the fall, so I am afraid the only really travelling I will be doing is home to visit family and friends. And if I’m lucky, maybe a weekend shopping trip down to Maine at some point.
Living a healthy lifestyle is definitely challenging. I have a love hate relationship with Carbs... I can’t get enough of them, which is becoming a problem. I am also struggling to get enough veggies in my diet on a daily basis, so I decided to start playing around with fruit and veggie smoothies to see if that helps any.
